The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi will conduct CTET exam. The CTET July 2020 exam is scheduled to held 5th July 2020. CTET Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must ensure their eligibility for CTET 2020 exam before filling up an online application form. The prescribed eligibility criteria are as under:
Criteria for Primary Level (Class I to V)
- Candidates should have completed senior secondary (12th) or its equivalent exam with at least 50% marks and passed or pursuing the final year of two-year diploma in elementary education. OR
- Passed senior secondary or its equivalent exam with at least 45% marks aggregate and completed or pursuing the final year of two-year diploma course in elementary education as per NCTE Regulations 2002. OR
- Completed senior secondary or equivalent exam securing at least 50% marks and cleared or pursuing the final year of four years Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR
- Applicant should have qualified senior secondary or its equivalent exam with securing at least 50% marks and completed or pursuing in the final year of two-year diploma programme of Education. OR
- Candidates having graduation degree and passed or pursuing the final year of two-year diploma programme in Elementary Education.
Criteria for Elementary Level (Class VI to VIII)
- Applicants must be a graduate and cleared or pursuing the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education. OR
- He/she should possess graduation degree securing 50% marks and passed or pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) one year course. OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and completed or pursuing B.Ed. one year programme as per NCTE Rules and Regulations. OR
- Passed senior secondary or equivalent exam obtaining at least 50% marks and completed or pursuing last year of four years Bachelor degree in elementary education. OR
- Candidates passed senior secondary or equivalent exam obtaining at least 50% marks and completed or pursuing last year of four years programme of B.A. or B.Sc.Ed./B.Sc.Ed./ B.A. Ed. OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and completed or pursuing B.Ed. one year programme.
CTET Application Form 2020
Candidates who are meeting the above eligibility requirements can submit the CTET application form before the due date. The important guidelines to submit CTET Application Form 2020 are as under:
- CTET 2020 application form will be available online in the month of February or March 2020 for the exam scheduled to be held in the month of May 2020.
- Candidates have to access the official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in for an online application form.
- Click on the “Apply Online” link at the official portal.
- Read all the instructions carefully and click on the “Proceed to Apply Online” link.
- Now fill the entire application form and provide each and every detail asked therein.
- The application form should be filled completely and correctly.
- Candidates must remember that any filed should not be left blank.
- Candidates also need to upload a scanned passport size photograph and signature with the specifications given.
- You also have to make payment of the requisite application fee in order to complete the application form.
- Submit the application form at the end and take at least one printout of the application form or confirmation page for future reference.
Application Fee
- Candidates belonging to the General/OBC (NCL) category will have to pay Rs.1000 for Paper-I or Paper-II and Rs. 1200/- for both papers.
- SC/ST/PH candidates will be required to pay Rs.500 for Paper-I or Paper-II and Rs.600 for both papers.
- The application fee can be paid using debit/credit card, e-Challan, and net banking.
- The fee will not be refunded in any case.

- CTET 2020 exam will consist of objective type questions having four alternatives.
- Both Paper-I and Paper-II will be of 2.30 hours.
- Paper-I and Paper-II will comprise 150 questions.
- Each question will carry one mark and for each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded.
- Negative marking is not applicable in this exam.

CTET 2020 Result
The result of the CTET 2020 exam will be declared probably in the month of July 2020. The candidates can check CTET result online at the official website. To download the result, candidates have to enter their Roll Number/Registration Number and Date of Birth in the required field at the official portal. Take a printout of the result for future reference.
Those who will obtain minimum qualifying marks will be invited to attend the Interview. If any candidate found ineligible at any stage even after qualifying the test, the competent authority has all rights reserved to cancel his/her candidature.
CTET 2020 Exam Summary
